I have been staying in fairly good contact with buying SIM cards. Sudan has been a bit of a challenge as posting a new entry has taken up to 12 hours to load. But once I get to Ethiopia it will even be a bigger challenge for the first couple of days at least. Very little SIM card availability and only one phone company. I will try my darnedest but we shall see.
Thanks much for your connection effort. Are you still following the Blue Nile? ETA to Ethiopia border? Great personal descriptions. It's really impressive how widespread the Coca Cola distribution is--see any Coke" Camels" along the route? Width of your tires? Keep the blue side up!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Bob & Linda.....it amazes me how far reaching Coke can go (Middle of Sudan and 'Coke is it.")
ReplyDeleteGlad today was a better day - biking wise! Loved the story of the kids investigating your bike.
Good luck in staying connected........like I've said, your blog is something I look forward to every day.
Best (& stay safe),
Pam North
Yes thanks for the blog. It is the first thing every morning, unless the wife has some other assignment for the morning.
