The cumulative fatigue of the past days really compounded to make it tough. Also, I have come to my wits end with the food. I can barely get it down. I fill the plate, then take a couple of bites and literally can't eat it. I can't wait to tear into a steak or a real hamburger or anything! With the lack of intake it is making the riding even tougher. I just don't have the fuel to keep going. I do keep going but ...
This was the highlight of the day! It was spectacular!
Mike, Hang in there bud. Do whatever you can to choke down the food. Send you taste buds on vacation and just think of it as fuel. Good to see your posts again and know you are having soooo much fun...
ReplyDeleteHold your nose and eat. Boy, I should go on that ride, I always need to loose weight, but then again my legs aren't made of steel. Remember what does not kill you makes you stronger, right?
ReplyDeleteTake a deep breath and keep on keeping on.

Mike, ya gotta eat, Man! It doesn't need to taste good (that would be a 'plus' if it did) but right now your body needs all the nutrition it can get in order for you to get through these climbs. That which does not kill us makes us stronger. Don't let the lack of taste do you in.
