Mike, Congratualtions on an epic trip. Lots of ups and downs both mental and physical, but you stuck with it and have accomplished something few will ever do. Now you are entitled to commence every sentence for the rest of your life with the phrase "When I rode my bike across the length of Africa, ......". Again, my sincerest congratulations! Scott.
Bravo! There are not enough superlatives to describe what you have accomplished - and with such a positive attitude! I will really miss your blog though.... When and where is your next great adventure? :) Debra
CONGRATULATIONS !!!!! How does someone even do this, I read your blog with my hands over my face peaking through my fingers everyday. I am so happy you are safe and sound and have finished your INSANE adventure. I just don't know how much more I could take !
Ok, now I will tell you what I wanted to tell you for the past month, but I was afraid you would give up your trip. A "Panera Bread" just opened a mile from my house ! I am not even kidding you, you wont have to ride your bike for 10 miles now to go to a Panera Bread when you come to visit me....ha ha ha, you will only have to ride your bike 1 mile to go to the Panera Bread when you come to Florida.
OMG, I am so proud of you ! You are more than amazing.
Mike (forever more known as a.k.a. SUPERMAN!), Webster does not provide enough superlatives to describe what you have completed or to extol your accomplishment. But, I'll give it my best shot. You're fortitude, physical and mental discipline over these many days leaves me in amazement. Congratulations! Safe travels home. Like all others; I will miss your journal. All the best to you and many more happy trails! And as we say here in North Carolina "Keep Pounding"!! Bert
